Age & Origin: 70-100 years old, from Sangrur Region (Malwa, Punjab)
Fabric & Thread: Made on Khaddar cotton using bright Pat silk threads
Technique: Handmade with the darning stitch from the back side, using careful thread counting for perfectly balanced embroidery.
Pattern Used: Features repeating Bagh Tara (four-part flower/star) motifs arranged in a dense symmetrical geometric layout.
Special Feature: As a Bagh Phulkari, the embroidery completely covers the base fabric, creating a rich “garden-like” appearance with detailed star- inspired patterns.
Measurements: H- 92" / W- 55"
Material: Made on Khaddar cotton using shiny pat silk threads
